Summer Art Camp for Middle School and High School Students
This is a 6 session drawing course that will also include some historical appreciation and aesthetic discussion. We are going to focus on developing our artistic eye, both literally and imaginatively in a life drawing setting. Projects and exercises include; gesture drawing, contour drawing, creative landscapes, action drawings, and a final series of independent drawings. Students will need to supply a drawing pad that is at least 14″ x 17″. Students are encouraged to but their own set of pencils, erasers and drawing charcoals, however, these materials will be available for use during class time.
