World Cultures for Grades 2nd – 4th

Come experience the world through a cultural mini-session.  Learn about a country from each continent through eight mini-lessons throughout the month.  In each class period, we will focus on a country from a different continent.  We will be listening and dancing to the country’s music, playing games, reading stories, creating the flag for that country and making a postcard to send to someone.  We will also be learning interesting facts about the country.  Each participant will receive a passport on the first day to h ave stamped after they learn about each country.  On the last day we will celebrate by tasting foods from each of the countries we “visited.”
